Seattle is cloudy and rainy and the baseball team loses more than it wins. But Money magazine - in a report in its September issue - found enough good things there to say it's the best place in the United States to live.

The Capital District placed 111th, behind such other upstate New York areas as Buffalo, 73rd; Rochester, 74th; Binghamton, 87th; and Syracuse, 89th. It ranked ahead of Utica, which was 134th.
