SA: Woman's body to be retrieved from Coober Pedy shaft

Police in South Australia will resume their efforts this morning to retrieve the body
of a woman who plunged to her death down a mine shaft in Coober Pedy.

The 35-year-old woman fell down the shaft at Dead Man's Gully Field late yesterday afternoon.

Rescue crews began an operation to retrieve her body .. but called it off at nightfall.
